The Paradox Parallel
A series of seemingly disconnected events haunt a troubled young man, who believes that a Jungian kind of connection must exist among them. He is humored by his wife, who loves him but believes he is slightly crazy. At the same time, he is encouraged by a strange story from a local second-hand shop owner, played by the late Tiny Tim. Writer/Director Mark Frizzel is a noted stop motion animator, and he created his own charming low-tech effects for this talky, tongue-in-cheek science fiction short film.
❝Rather than mugging to the camera with the score, I wrote it mostly serious, but with a playful edge. Due to the very nature of this bizarre story, it was just good fun to work on, and nice to work with Mark.❞
