Singer/Songwriter
Duet
Competition film, romance, composer of original score
The Rhode Island Film Commission sponsored the 2010 Providence 48 Hour Film Project this year. In this amazing competition, groups of film makers receive a packet of information on Friday night, and they have until Sunday night to deliver a completed short film. The packet contains several critical plot or character points, lines of dialog, etc., which must appear in the final film. The teams then have 48 hours to write a script, cast it, shoot it, edit it, score it, and deliver it. Check of the competition’s website on this page:

Duet is a powerful story about Mike and Mikhaela, musicians who discover each other, and try to write a song about their love. It ends with an unexpected twist. I wrote and original song called START EACH DAY for this film. Many of the lyrics from the song were used as lines of dialog by the actors. Everything ties together. Christian de Rezendes did a brilliant job of directing and editing, working under an incredible time crunch.

The film Duet was first shown on Wednesday, June 21st at Cinema World at the Lincoln Mall in Rhode Island. It was the first film from the group shown, and got a great reaction from the audience.
